Michele Sasmor, MD - Dr. Sasmor has been in the Newburyport/Anna Jaques Hospital community for over ten years. She began by pursuing a BSN program a the University of Colorado and then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to pursue a master's degree in health education. Once her master's degree in health education was complete, it just seemed natural to progress into a master's degree in nursing (family nurse practitioner). After completing her master's in nursing, Dr. Sasmor went on to the University of Utah Medical Center to complete her medical training. A desire to experience another part of the country lead Dr. Sasmor to a surgery residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire. It was here that she met two dynamic plastic surgeons who introduced her to the many facets of plastic surgery from reconstructive to cosmetic, from infants to children to the elderly. This seemed an arena big enough to keep her interested for years. Although, still a south westerner at heart, Dr. Sasmor has found a comfortable niche in a community that she loves. Michael Kutka, MD - An experienced and dedicated professional, Dr. Kutka possesses exceptional surgical skills. He is a graduate of Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY with a B.A. Degree in Chemistry, and earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. He completed an internship and assistant residency in Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD, and his residency in Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. He has done research in minimally invasive surgery at Johns Hopkins' Department of Surgery.
