At RiverSong Plastic Surgery we have been caring for people like you for over 25 years. Many of our staff have worked in our office for several years and are some of the best in their field. We are all here to provide the best care to each patient that walks through our door today and for many years to come. The Riversong front office staff and medical team includes Kay, Kathy, Rae, Chris, Lisa, Shelley and Anne. Meet our Physician Assistant, Lara, and estheticians Erika and Linda below.

Lara Melchionda, Physician Assistant
Lara was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, migrating to the Boston area for undergrad education, receiving a BA in computer science. Finding that she was interested in a career in medicine she pursued and earned a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Northeastern University. Her initial position was with the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at the Massachusetts General Hospital. The lure of a small town on the coast brought her to Newburyport where she has lived ever since. Lara spent the last 6 years working in general and plastic surgery at York Hospital in York, Maine, before joining RiverSong Plastic Surgery in September of 2015.

Lara brings a wealth of surgical and diagnostic experience from her previous positions. In her spare time, Lara enjoys spending time with her family, running half marathons and experiencing all that Newburyport has to offer.
Erika Moran, Licensed Master Esthetician
Erika graduated from The Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics at the top of her class in 2006. Her travels brought her to Austin, TX where she attended The Texas Laser and Aesthetics Academy in 2012. Erika worked closely with a doctor to hone her skills as a laser technician. Erika returned from Austin in 2016 and is now settled in the Merrimack Valley with her husband, two children and her two pups. Erika enjoys traveling, music, dancing and draws inspiration from connecting with others.
Linda DeMoura, Registered Nurse, Cosmetic Injectables
Linda has been a registered nurse since 1979, spending years in community and hospital settings, surgery, and acute care. Since 2002, Linda has been practicing in the medical aesthetics profession. She spent ten years working in the Boston area for one of the nation's top cosmetic dermatology practices. She has developed an expertise in cosmetic surgical and nonsurgical procedures, including lasers, cosmetic injectables, neurotoxins and dermal fillers.

In 2014, Linda join the practice of Dr. Michele Sasmor of RiverSong Plastic Surgery in Newburyport. Linda is a talented injector with an artistic eye and great attention to detail. Always listening to patient's concerns, she provides personalized options for them to look their very best, while always looking natural and refreshed.

Linda also is trained and experienced in providing the CO2RE Intima Vaginal Rejuvenation treatment. This easy, office procedure helps restore women's intimate health and treats urinary stress incontinence.

Linda is a member of many cosmetic nurse injector organizations and attends educational seminars and workshops, continuing her development in the latest advances in the field of aesthetic medicine.
